2 am

A heavy head ache. A bad cough. A little fever too. No free msgs. No currency. No one to talk to. 300+ songs on the phones. Ear phones right by the pillow. And a novel too. No college for 3 days. No records to write. No tension in the world. But, ~ no sleep tonight. Period. Half the world is in darkness. Some lost in deep slumber. Some lost in relationships, gaming, facebook, drugs, etc. The rest of us, lie awake staring at the dark roof with a whole bunch of psychological-shit in the mind. And it is 2 am, baby. P.S – WHY AM I UPDATING THE BLOG SO OFTEN?!

The friendly neighborhood dog

If you are a resident of Bangalore for more than two years, you'd know what I'm talking about. The friendly neighborhood dog. Every locality in Bangalore, be it from the high-end Kormangala to the (dirty) Shivaginagar, from the classic Indiranagar to the ahem Mudalpallya, there is a friendly neighborhood dog. Unless, you have one of those bungalows where dogs have a separate room. Whatever! My friendly neighborhood dog. Name: Moosa. (Moo as in, Chocolate Mo usse.) A funny name. Yes. I wish I knew the origin of that name. Age: Ah, old enough. How did Moosa end up in our locality? A sad story. Read on. There lived a family in the adjacent road of ours. Husband, wife, two kids. They owned Moosa. Moosa like any other street dog would have those, what you call, dog-fights with other dogs. Return home, hurt and limping. The family never cared.
