Graduation day

Who doesn’t look forward to Graduation day?
The actual last day of school/college.
Friends, not sure if you’ll meet them again in life.
A day, when you smile and shed a tear at the same time.

Girls are excited to wear their saree for the first time.
Guys feeling all-gay in their sherwani. :D

I missed this important day..forever! :(

Reason?
:( I dint like the saree that they gave us.
No, really! The sari brought from some cheap place. Eye-catchy-blue in colour.
...??
I didn’t want to wear it.
..
But I should have. :( For the sake of ....well, for the sake of it!!

Little did I know that I would regret it so much.

I’m missing in all the graduation pics. Duh!
Friends had so much of fun that day. :\

Heres what people had to tell me:
G: Dude? Graduation day? How could you miss 12th std graduation day?!!!
MK: I always knew it Pooja, your the biggest loser on earth.
N: Graduation day also you had to bunk huh?
Dad: Shamless. For a saree you acted so irrational..
Mum: Aiyoo. Its all your fate..

I wasn’t the only one who missed it actually. Even NS did! Yea, stupid people stick together with their stupid plans!
No doubt, for the kind of sincere students we were, our classmates still remember us. :D

I’m glad I attended my 10th graduation. I wasn’t stupid then. :\

S, is all excited about her Big-Saree-day, though she pretends not to be. I thought I’d get a chance here to pull her leg here.
Me: Hahaaa. You have to wear a saree. Hahaa..
S: Atleast I’ll wear one. Atleast I’ll attend my farewell day.
Me: ........goo yaa. :\ :\ :\
S: Hahaa. Hahaa. Hahaa..

Whenever I see any lady with a eye-catchy-blue sari..

I attended my grad day and all, but I look so ugly and fat in the sari i wore i wished i hadn't attended at all!

The only funny thing about turning 30, is the episode on Friends when they all turn 30. And by funny, I mean sad. And by sad, I mean meh. My only question is, what next? Turning 32. Oh, would you look at that, age is increasing while bra size remains the same. Turning 35. Girl, I think the One came. And came again. And left. Turning 40. Still cry to mommy about period cramps. Aww. Absolutely nothing is what is next. I have no more aspirations, or dreams, or all the things our beloved APJ stood for in life. While my motivation to get up from my bed remains the same (breakfast) the satisfaction of living throughout a day is dropping unrealistically. I finished The Hand Maid's Tale two weeks ago, beautifully written, and the fact that I could relate to woman of such deep emotions was surprising.
